Welcome to our online website. We are a small, local (SF Bay Area) Breeder of a few Toy Breed Dogs. We offer Bichon Frise, Yorkshire Terriers (Blue & Gold and Black & Tan), Maltese, Designer Pups (Toy Mal-Shi's, Shorkie's, and Zuchon's) and Shih Tzu's - (Standard).
We have a great reputation, thrilled customers and happy puppies. We cater to individuals and families seeking a beautiful, healthy, special pet, extremely well cared for which will be a family member. We spend a lot of time with the puppies in our home and offer them to you at a fair price. We offer guidance and advice about caring for, training, grooming, and general information about your puppy and the breed before placement and after placement. This ensures a smooth transition from our home to your home. Our puppies are healthy, vet checked and innoculated, socialized, groomed, and have begun their basic training.
Adopting a puppy is a serious and long-term commitment. Make sure this is a well thought out decision on your part.
ABOUT OUR PROGRAM: The breeds we chose are hypoallergenic and non-shed. These are truly wonderful traits. They also require more grooming and care (from you and/or a Groomer) than other breeds. Do your research on the Internet, through books, talking to owners and breeders to gain as much information on the breed you are thinking about sharing your life with. Our dogs and puppies are registered with the CKC, some double registered with the AKC. We give you a one year written Health Guarantee. The puppies are regularly dewormed with prescribed medication, starting at two weeks of age. Our Vet works closely with us in our program, visiting the house to perform the Veterinarian Well Puppy Examinations on all puppies and giving them their first series of puppy shots. Yorkies have 2 exams as they get their tails docked and dewclaws removed when they are a few days old. A copy of this paperwork goes to each home for you to give to your Vet. Puppies are crate trained, wee wee pad trained, and doggie playpen trained, raised underfoot with us in our home and in our bedroom. They are handled and loved, groomed numerous times, socialized with humans and other dogs. There is a huge difference in raising a puppy like this and you can see the difference. This care makes it easier for you to handle and train your puppy to adulthood.
Yorkshire Terriers (Yorkies) are a gorgeous, tiny dog - big on love and affection and have a great personality. One of the most disease resistent of all Toy breeds, typically weighing 3-7 pounds. Perfect for city and apartment dwellers. Being highly intelligent, sometimes they are more independent. They are self-confident and full of self-importance, regal presence, alert, loyal, and quick learners when trained with firmness and consistency. They love to be with you, but keep them on a harness and leash just in case something catches their attention. Yorkies are typically very sweet, but some can be aggressive to other dogs at times, and some can be bossy. Maltese are spirited, very intelligent, sensitive, responsive, and extremely loving. They are companion dogs, sitting next to you or traveling in your car. They love to kiss and will go home with strangers. This breed is relatively free of many of the serious genetic disease that can cause premature death. They have pink skin and white hair, so should not be out in the sun for long periods of time without protection. They typically get along well with other animals and love kids, but caution is always important with tiny animals and very young children - supervision is the key. Size when fullgrown is 3-7 pounds. Shih Tzu's carry themselves with a proud, dignified, aristocratic bearing, yet are joyful and playful. Their flowing, silky hair can come in many colorations, each dog being unique. They don't require a lot of exercise, typically less yappy than other toy breeds. Very sweet and good with children. Our Standard's are 9-12 pounds; most falling in the 10 pounds range - we have Imperial in our line. Standard's are typically 9-16 pounds.
Bichon's are a good choice for an individual or family that will be able to be around them most of the time. Bichon's don't do well if left alone. If you have 2 dogs, they will be fine. They make a wonderful family dog and adore children. They were bred to entertain in the Circus and are easily trained to do tricks. They are highly intelligent and obedient. Their hair is curly, similar to a Poodle.
Designer Dogs is a very popular choice for many people today. Also know as "Hybrids" (crosses between two purebred dogs) produces stronger and healtier puppies. Our babies are "F1 Generation", which means we breed a purebred to a purebred, rather than breeding an F2 Generation which would be a Designer Pup to a Designer Pup. You gain the highest possible gene pool with this protocol. All of our Adult Breeding Dogs are registered and purebred. These puppies are hypoallergenic, shed free, and Tiny Toy and Toy Breeds which many people are seeking. Also, you get a little color added to the all white breeds of the Maltese and Bichon.
We offer three types:
Designer Pups (Mal-Shi) - cross between Maltese and Shih Tzu
Designer Pups (ZuChon) - cross between Shih Tzu and Bichon
Designer Pups (Shorkie) - cross between a Shih Tzu and Yorkshire Terrier
All of our puppies are registered (some double registered) and will come with registration paperwork for you.
All these breeds are INDOOR dogs. They can go for walks and outside to potty, but need to be with the family, in the house and love to travel in the car when it is convenient to take them.
Bichon Frise (pronounced Bee Shawn Free Zay) - hair is similar to a poodle, but they have a better personality - love families and children. However, they need to be with a human companion at all times, OR, another dog. Sometimes, a cat will bond with them, but we recommend another dog.

I can't say enough good things about PrettyPuppies4U. The entire experience from finding a picture posted online of an adorable little pup and getting in touch to see if he was available, to visiting him when he wasn't mature enough yet to leave his mom, to picking him up and taking him home has been a total delight. They care diligently for the pups they bring into the world, tending to every little detail. And they care for the families who adopt their puppies, too. They love what they do and they put their whole heart into it— and it shows in the pups: they are beautiful inside and out! Laura H.

I wanted to give you an update on Murphy. He is absolutely, the most wonderful dog I've ever had!!! He is such a joy to come home to. He is smart, playful, mellow and you were right, the most adoring dog ever! He gazes at me so adoringly all the time! He is very healthy and is tolerant of my constant grooming. He is very sociable and everyone who sees him falls in love. I got into an car accident the day after Christmas and everyone at work who met him already--the first thing they asked was, "Oh, is Murphy okay?" Hahahaha!!!
I am sure you have had a number of inquiries already because I have referred people to your website many times. I have included a photo of him for you and please tell his parents Thank You!!!
Thank you so much for my son!

I wanted to update you on the status of my new puppy Leo (2.5 months old). Everybody says he is so adorable! I really love little Leo. He has been sleeping in my bed since I first got him, and he is perfectly content. So am I! He is so nice to cuddle with! I am potty training him now, and he is doing well. Leo is very smart and has already learned to "heel" (without a leash), "stop", "sit", and "down". He loves to learn new things. He has a good appetite, but I don't give him too much puppy kibble so he won't get overweight. I have already made a vet appt. for his future shots, etc. I can hardly wait for Leo to get all his shots and then I can take him outside for walks. Thanks for letting me have this cute little puppy. I purchased a shih tzu from you a few years ago I just wanted to give you an update. Hi name is Gizmo and I have attached a picture of him with his favorite toy of a squeaky cupcake. I have had him about 3 years, he is incredibly healthy and overall a very sweet dog. Great temperment and most of all a very loved member of the family. I just thought you might want an update. Thanks again! Jessica B.
I just wanted you to know how much I love Holly! She is the most well adjusted, smart, sweet puppy I could have possibly imagined! I’m so grateful to have her in my life. She makes me laugh all the time! Thank you! Ann N
